TRUDEAU'S MUSIC COUNCIL consists of 36 highly enthusiastic students from various ensembles dedicated to enriching the music program at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. Members work alongside teacher supervisors to organize and run events within the music department. Their efforts go from guiding grade eight students through the masterclasses and clinics held within the school during our annual Trudeau Band Workshop, to organizing and running our end-of-year celebrations at Music Banquet.

       These students also work to make the music program more enjoyable to students by offering opportunities to wear their pride for the department by wearing music-related apparel. From late September to early June, these students work with the best efforts of the department in mind and never tire from their continuous hard work. Music Council is an application-based council in which students apply for executive positions as well as ensemble representatives.
